Overview
La Désirade is in Le Petit Cosquet, on the Belle-Ile-en-Mer. It offers a heated outdoor pool. Access to the spa is free of charge and spa facilities include a sauna, a hammam and massages. The guest rooms are distributed between 6 holiday homes, all around the pool and overlooking the flower-filled gardens. Each guest room has a large private bathroom and a courtesy tray is provided in every room. La Désirade’s restaurant serves traditional cuisine, prepared with fresh market produce, and it has an extensive wine list. A daily buffet-style breakfast/brunch is also served, which includes home-made delicacies.

A gorgeous hotel on a gorgeous island! All the facilities were perfect! So much space in the beautiful gardens to relax after a day spent exploring the Belle île! Breakfast was delicious as was the hotel restaurant.

“Wonderful and relaxing stay.”
We loved our stay at La Désirade. We were greeted by the warm and friendly hotel staff, who showed us to our well-appointed, comfortable and relaxing room. In the room were provided towels and dressing gowns for the pool and spa. Dinner, located in the restaurant just across the road, was delightful. Again, we were hosted by very amiable and attentive staff, and here we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Breakfast at the hotel was excellent, and we had the pleasure of taking this outside. Overall, we found our short stay at the hotel so relaxing and comfortable that we wish we stayed another night. We hope to return in the future.

“Beyond expectations, the perfect holiday.”
The property is beautiful and quintessentially Breton. Everything is thoughtfully chosen and impeccably kept. The guests are interesting people, and the atmosphere is reserved yet friendly. Everything is set to recreate a feeling of “home away from home”. Breakfast is unforgettable.

A very friendly atmosphere, kind and nice personal, it is clean. Beakfast was fantastic, everything is fresh and prepared with love. The garden is nice and it is well integrated between the rooms and the restaurant/recaption.

“A highly recommended hotel from which to explore Belle-Île- or just relax “at home”.”
A wonderfully tranquil and comfortable family run hotel with rooms arranged in Breton-style cottages in lovely gardens. A great island ambiance with excellent service and lots of thoughtful touches and working hard on environmental credentials. The hotel’s restaurant, also open to non-residents, is exceptional.
