“Run down...”

Because of the very good reviews my expectations were high. But... the small road turned into a dirt track and it was difficult to find the place and get our luggage there because our driver saw the 'road' and split. Then, the 'jacuzzi' is just a hot tub which is ok but not very special. The fountain works randomly and the water constantly runs over into the patio. The bathroom is a dark grotto at night with a dirty, smelly sink and don't start me about the flies... No way you can relax outside so we called it quits and left after one night. No refund because 'we reserved already and now another traveller couldn't book it'. Which is bull because the place was empty, apart from us. Oh well, it's cheap! (But for the same price you can get a much better place!)

The sheets and towels were changed daily and the staff arranged a scooter, great shuttle drivers and a sunrise jeep tour that guaranteed us a great view point parked higher and away from most of the crowd. The private hot spring and breakfast was lovely too.

Nice, clean and lovely receptionists. They sorted everything for me. Food delivery and moped rental. I would definitely come back the views were gorgeous.

Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Loved the jacuzzi. The guys running it were friendly and helpful. Well signposted from the main road weaving around the houses. Great view from the top lookout area on site and really appreciated the breakfast included.

Excellent accommodation, it was so private and having our own naturally hot jacuzzi was such a treat. The host was lovely and very helpful.

Nice hotel for those who wants to have few chilling days. The private jacuzzi with hot termal water made our days more comfortable and relaxing. Sky was very attentive and did delicious breakfasts. The room was not big and very clean and it had everything we needed. Also bed and pillow was sooo comfortable! There is no restaurant in the hotel, but walking 10 min are nice places to eat for reasonable price (Wayan kitchen and bar, The Cintamani kitchen and bar, Oemah kitchen) Note that google maps doesn't show correct route to reach the hotel and best orientation is another hotel "Tegal Bamboo Cottages and Private Hot Spring", after which comes The Toya Bali.

Two staff are super helpful and freindly. They picked me up from the restaurant and gave me ride on their bike to the main road. (actually a short walk) The place has a private outside hot spring water tub enclosed with wooden door for the sense of seclusion. They have a nice breakfast seating area on top of the main building over looking lake and mountains. Sky went to get food for me twice. WIFI worked very well. It was perfect for what I needed. Thank you!

hot spring water jacuzzi was the best thing there. the room was ok not so big. The access of the resort is bit tricky. but the staff was really good and helpful.

What we have most enjoyed, apart from the hotel which was very nice, is the trek for the sunrise on Mount Batur thanks to our excellent and friendly guide Nyoman. We recommend him strongly.

Amazing and clean accommodation with a private thermal jacuzzi. Very nice staff for whom nothing is a problem and will help with everything. I can only recommend.

I could not rent a scooter here, so the hotel owner gave me his scooter to borrow. Insanely polite staff that really connected with me as a guest. I would recommend this place to everyone!

Excellent comfy beds. Staff were absolutely lovely and bli Gede and his team were so very helpful. Great jacuzzi/hottub. Kettle and tea and coffee in the room which is always nice.

“Beautiful hotel”

The Toya Bali is beautifully designed with our very own jacuzzi. We did the Mount Batur when we were there so it was wonderful to take a dip in the jacuzzi afterwards. The staff were very kind and sweet, and did their best to provide recommendations. Breakfast is simple but good, made on the spot by the staff. Watch out for the flies in that area from organic farming, they are everywhere!!

We absolutely loved having our own hot spring! The temperature was warm enough to stay warm but not super hot so could be enjoyed during the day in hot weather. Bed was comfy and TV and internet worked better than in any4/5 star resort we stayed. We would 100% be back and recommend. We loved staying amongst the onion farms and seeing the locals:)
