View over the mountains from my room

I would like to share my feedback which I don't like regarding my recent hotel stay booked through Booking.com. I booked this room through Booking.com and made the payment online in advance. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was charged an additional $300 at checkout. I was informed that this amount would be refunded, but I have not yet received it, which is concerning. The payment process was unclear and inconvenient. It should be a single payment system — either charged through the Booking.com app or at the property, not both. I also found the overall payment and refund process to be too slow. At other hotels, refunds are usually processed at the time of checkout, but in this case, it is taking much longer, which I did not appreciate. Lastly, I would like to mention that the food at the hotel was quite expensive compared to other places we visited during our trip. I request Booking.com to please look into this matter and improve transparency in the payment and refund process, as well as assist in resolving my pending refund. Thank you.

“A treat in a beatiful town”

This was a delightful stop over to Calgary… a beautiful view, great staff and a brilliant stay.

I had an wonderful stay at Juniper. The views are amazing and the staff is courteous. They have free shuttles to and from the Banff town center which is just a 5 minute drive from the hotel, which is convenient.

Did not go to the Bistro

I recently stayed at Juniper Hotel & Bistro and had a truly memorable experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning mountain views and a peaceful atmosphere that really lets you unwind. What made the stay especially exceptional was the staff. Maxim, the shuttle driver, was fantastic—friendly, punctual, and genuinely helpful. He made getting around so easy and always had a warm, welcoming attitude that set the tone for the day. Hera, the food attendant at the bistro, was equally wonderful. She was attentive, kind, and made sure everything was perfect during our dining experience. Her positive energy and great service really stood out. Joel also who is very accommodating and welcoming. Overall, the combination of a lovely location, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding staff made this a stay I’d highly recommend. I’d definitely come back!

Hot tub wasn't working, rooms were not sound proof. Beds were very comfortable. Views were pretty. Staff was lovely!

The staff were absolutely amazing, and it never felt like we were in the way. We felt like guests during our entire stay, and it was amazing. The room was a perfect size, and the ground-level patio was amazing!

“Lovely weekend getaway”

Such a lovely hotel. It was nice to be outside of the town for a change, as it felt like a true getaway (but still close enough to enjoy the amenities). They do offer a shuttle into town, which was also a nice touch. The room was comfortable with a wonderful view. The coffee was so great! I wish I knew where they source it from! Didn't get a chance to try their award winning food, so will have to come back.

“Where you want to stay in Banff”

Beautiful location with lots of wildlife, great little cabin with a fire place. Easy parking and easy to drive anywhere . Great staff and lots to do. Did I mention the magical views!
