Lovely place, it had everything we needed. As we were staying over Christmas the owner had gone out of her way to put up Christmas decorations to welcome us on our arrival, which was really lovely to arrive to - it made a real difference. It was super-cosy and perfect for us with plenty of space; there were 4 of us but it could easily accommodate 6. Everything worked (not always the case in my experience!) and the place was spotless. It's a beautiful peaceful spot but also just a short (and beautiful) walk to Tor-Na-Coille in Banchory, a local Banchory hotel with a great restaurant and a lovely public bar. Also recommended is Mamma Mia's for pizza. And to work it all off the next day, a walk up Scolty Hill gives great views over Banchory and Deeside. We'll be back!

Location was good and Internet was much better than others I have stayed at in Inchmarlo. Great balcony breakfast in the sun. James taxis were also very good.

Place was clean welcoming and the host had lots of lovely touches such as leaving milk, coffee biscuits etc. there were enough dishwasher tablets and washing machine capsules. There were games for the kids. We settled in very quickly as it was left so homely.
