Perfect cottage in beautiful location. Cottage was cosy, comfortable and was equipped with everything you could need. Wonderful hosts.

Great location, especially for Aberdeen and Deeside. Ian and Alison were very welcoming hosts. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything we needed.

A literal cottage as you could imagine. The owner, also the host, builds it lovely and keeps it well. A real fireplace within it and the host can provide you with enough logs to have fun. The host and hostess are lovely and helpful. They won't bother you, but give you all the answers when you need them. A host-made garden behind, it might be the varied scene in every season. And it might have some cherry trees so a short period of spring the blossom would be amazing.

Lovely wee cottage with equally lovely owners. The cottage is so well equipped with everything you could ever need. We were allowed in their fields as there were no cows in so our boy Scoob had the best time ever. We will be back! 💕💕

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful countryside setting. The cottage was very well looked after, tidy and clean. The pictures attached to the booking do not do the cottage justice. The owners were lovely and very respectful. The welcome tray that was left was a lovely touch and much appreciated

Lovely quiet location with good views. Lovely fresh salad leaves grown on the premises. Compact property but all facilities available and a lovely garden to explore which is surrounded by fields. Very helpful hosts who supplied a large well stocked welcome tray - difficult to eat it all before we left!

Wonderful stay in gorgeous country with magnificent views. The accomodation had everything you needed. A fully equipped kitchen with oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and every gadget you could need to cook whatever you wanted. Great sitting area with wood burner and an extremely comfortable bed. Parking on site. 5 minutes to Lumphanan. 15 minutes to Banchory for Tesco. Wonderful hosts who you would not know were even there. Thank you Alison and Iain. We will hopefully be back.

Absolute home from home. Excellent for our rescue dog who is of a nervous disposition, very peaceful and quiet location. Spotlessly clean, lots to do and see locally and wonderful owners. We cannot thank you enough for our stay, and our dog Marnie gives 10 woofs out of 10!

Beutiful position amongst the fields with an extensive garden to wander in (I startled a deer!) and good views over to the local hills. Very friendly and helpful hosts in the house next door who were there if you needed them but did not intrude. The property is small but beautifully fitted and in an excellent condition and we loved it. The dining table enlarge into enough room for our maps and files as well as for eating on. Very responsive heating as well as a wood burner (not used as it was warm.) Convenient location with Aboyne and Banchory very close as well as facilities in Lumphanan. Excellent welcome tray. We didn't want to leave!
