I loved the location, although it was foggy for the first two days, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the view of the rice terraces. Thankfully, on our third day—just before heading home—the fog finally cleared, even if only for an hour, and we were able to catch a beautiful glimpse of the scenery.

Absolutely beautiful. The traditional cottages are simple but super comfortable. The people who run this place are absolutely lovely and very helpful. Different cottages are at different distances to the main house (or at different levels of going up the path/stairs), and each forms its own little terrace area with outside but private bathroom, fireplace, table and chairs. The restaurant is down by the main house and makes decent food at flexible opening hours. And the view - oh well, it's just gorgeous. Highly recommended

The place is a very nice, rural place. Facilities are very good, staff is very very kind. Right inside the Banaue region. I definitely recommend this place if you organise your Manila-Banaue-Manila transfer. Requires some adaptation to local reality, but yhis is expected and also a target of the trip. I was going to rate it less fot the issues with had with services, but I need to increase by 1 mark thanks to the wonderful smile and eyes of the very young lady at the hotel who was always around trying (and succeeding) to communicate and be useful.

The house itself offered a rustic charm, giving us a glimpse into traditional living. The peaceful surroundings and cultural atmosphere made it feel like a true escape into nature.

The food in the restaurant was pretty good and very reasonably priced. Nona Gloria was very accommodating.

Very charming traditional houses remodeled to guest rooms, on the top of the hill with a great feeling and view whether there was fog or sunshine. Bare minimum amenities and bathrooms outside of the room (quite obvious) so you don’t come here for these but for the location and the experience. Good food also provided on demand.

We just loved the warm welcome of Gloria and her husband. They showed us around explaining thing about the baleh and way of live. To sleep in the baleh was a great experience, I have seldom slept that good. The view was amazing. It is very easy to reach the town and sights. As we came from the mountain province and had lots of trouble driving because of landslides due to 3 typhoons (and a 4th one coming in) we felt it was better to drive back to Manila earlier. Hence we stayed a night shorter. That was a shame. This is a place to spend at least 2 nights.

Hiwang native hut place is my favorite accommodation whenever we are in Banaue! Been there several times!

Staff were quite accommodating. We had a change of heart with the rooms and they agreed to swap for a fee. From native houses we transferred to modern stone rooms which suited our family (senior and children). We also had late lunch and everything was fresh and tasty. Each dish was actually good for 2. Funnily enough my favorite part of the accommodation is the amazing bathroom/shower.
