In my opinion, this is the best place to stay in Batad if you’ve come to admire the rice terraces. Getting here is not easy: first a bus to Banaue, then a van to the Batad junction, followed by about a 30-minute walk to the village itself. After such a journey, you’ll be tired, and the last thing you’ll want is to search for your accommodation through narrow village paths. Google Maps is not always reliable in Batad either. This hotel is located close to the entrance of the village – one of the first places you reach, which makes it extremely convenient. And the panoramic view from its elevated position is absolutely stunning. It’s essentially an additional viewpoint on its own. The hotel has its own cafe, which was delicious, and most importantly, you don’t need to go anywhere else for food. There is almost no mobile signal in the village, but the hotel offers Wi-Fi for a small fee: 5 pesos for 1 hour, 10 pesos for 3 hours, 20 pesos for 12 hours, and so on.

“Lovely little hotel”
Great location in the upper Batad village, close to the jump-off point, with breathtaking views of the Batad rice terraces. The staff are super friendly and kind. Everything was clean. The food was very tasty, and the generous supply of San Miguel was the cherry on top. 😊 We highly recommend this accommodation (especially the traditional hut) - eleven out of ten! 😊

“Perfect Hotel for Batad Terraces”
The light in the room is strong and could be arranged better but it is fine for one night. Be careful, the access to the hotel is not easy if you have many luggages. It takes 15 minutes from the parking to reach the hotel but once you arrive the view is amazing. Food is tasty. Friendly and helpful staff.

I spent a 2nd night in the establishment in this room (because the room with the view / balcony and private bathroom was unavailable). It was quite small and dark, but overall ok and clean, with very needed fan to be able to sleep with the heat of that time of the year. The shared bathroom is right next door, with the shower and WC both in. However, if the other room is available, for the price difference, I’d recommend to book the other one. The team was adorable, they really tried to help me as my shoes were losing their soles, they spent a whole evening glueing them and was a great temporary fix to go through the 2nd day of trekking!

“Amazing view and calm”
The most beautiful view on Batad Rice terrasses, thanks to a wide roof to floor window 🤩 I had changed my booking specifically to have this room, that was great with the balcony and the private bathroom. Equipment is very basic, but enough for the place. I enjoyed the little balcony to get some air. Room 1 was quite warm after a sunny day, so the fan was definitely needed to sleep. Food was good and very affordable.
