I loved that it was right in the middle of the rice terraces! The view is stunning! Host super helpful and friendly! I liked that they had services for massage ,transportation, and tour guide available. And that they have a restaurant as well. Since its not quick to get food somewhere else.

The family can help you in everything, the food is super and the view on the rice terrace is amazing. If you are a traveller this place is for you. If you are a fancy tourist don’t go to batad or banaue, just go in crowded and touristic places so that you don’t ruin these hidden gems. Thank you

The location was amazing...right in the middle of the terraces. The food was excellent...the best chicken adobo I've had in the Phillipines. Tour guide was knowledgeable and patient with my poor climbing skills...a trip I'll always hold dear.

What a wonderful find! A highlight of my trip to The Phillipines. Loved staying with Christina and her family, deep in the Banaue Rice Terraces at Batad. Great company with the other guests from around the world. Lovely home cooked meals. Christina's 4 year old grand daughter was an absolute delight, as were the village children wanting to practice their English. Beautiful hikes to waterfalls and rivers. The family even dressed me in their traditional clothing on my final night. This place is an absolute gem for intrepid travellers. Highly recommended.

Lovely stay in Batad with Cristina’s family. The view is breathtaking ! You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner very convenient and tasteful !

The greatest place I have ever stayed - in the middle of the ricefields Cristinas Home just has the best view and its so calm and peaceful! Although its a tough walk especially going back to the drop off it is all worth it! Cristina‘s family is very kind and willing to help you fulfill all your wishes (if it‘s a trekking guide, a delicious homecooked meal or a relaxing massage!). I can highly recommend staying there and experience yourself!

My room had a panoramic view of the terraces plus the place was near the falls and the hanging bridge so it’s perfect. The people were also nice and accommodating to my needs especially as a solo traveller. They made sure my needs were perfectly met and my questions were answered.

The hosts were welcoming, and this includes a pet dog they have. I decided to take a walk to the waterfall early in the morning and the dog started accompanying me patiently and loyally all the way there and back. I was told later that that adorable dog was a guide to the waterfall and some other locations. This property is not in the easiest location to get to, but the views are spectacular. The WiFi was very strong. Overall, it's hard to beat this property for its value for money.
