Staying here is fantastic. But If there is one thing that makes the stay even more better is the staff here. Arrived with a warm welcome by the staff name "A". He ensure everything is well taken care make our stay very comfortable. Really enjoy here

Absolutely loved my stay at Meakampong The River. The environment is stunning and peaceful, with nature all around you. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. If you love being close to nature, you must come here! I will definitely come back again.

My stay was incredible, and I would highly recommend anyone visiting Maekampong to stay here for at least one night. Although the cabins are close to one another, the privacy screens are thoughtfully designed and provide a strong sense of seclusion. At night, the cabins are beautifully lit, and the use of natural materials creates a rustic yet elegant ambience that adds to the experience. On my first night, I stayed at River House 1. While the room was comfortable, the sound of the rushing river was loud. For the following two nights, I received a complimentary upgrade to River House 6, which was a wonderful surprise. The upgraded room was spacious, the pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and the river sounds were at a much more pleasant volume. Overall, it was a delightful experience. I appreciated the in room dining for both breakfast and dinner, as well as the convenience of texting staff with requests. The service felt personal and thoughtful, and I would love to return with my family in the future. I visited in January and enjoyed the stay immensely. There were no bats, monkeys, ants, or other creepy crawlies, and I did not have to worry about monkeys stealing food left outside. Transportation to Maekampong village was very convenient, with the Songthaew stop located just opposite. A solo ride costs 500 baht, while travelling in a group of five brings the cost down to 100 baht per person. I stayed three nights at River Maekampong as a solo traveller and left feeling genuinely restored and relaxed. A small note for future travellers: bring a sweater, as nights can be quite chilly. Temperatures felt like 12 to 18 degrees Celsius in January.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and the owner went above and beyond to make it special for us. The cabin was so beautifully decorated with lots of special little touches. All meals are served up at the cabins so it feels very private. The hotel is also opposite a taxi rank so its easy to get to the local village if you're staying for a couple of days. Food portions are also very generous and reasonably priced 😊

Modern and clean. Nice, friendly and well spoken owner. Very chill and comfortable environment during day time. Nice mookata offered by the owner (with extra paid).

“Amazing river view, cosy rooms”

The view of the river right in front was amazing. The room was spacious with 3 big beds just nice for my family of five. Big fridge with many bottles of water inside. Location is just 10mins drive to maekampong village, can call a driver to tour you around for the day.

I went there to relax, I couldn't rate this place highly enough, beautiful settings, on the river and so peaceful, the bed was the comfiest bed slept in at a hotel, The staff was above and beyond, nothing was a hassle, had ur breakfast set at the table for u waking up, will definitely be returning

The cleanliness and facilities, surrounded by lush nature trees, butterflies and the river, the breakfast, hospitality of the manager which arranged everything from transport to tours with prompt response. Could feel the attentive thought given to even the smallest details.

The view is simply amazing!!! We had such a lovely stay there. Breakfast was different every day and was just so delicious! Staff were so attentive, hospitable and kind. Ore was so helpful with helping us organise all our tours and always accommodating. Will definitely go back again.

The breakfast was very good and the staff were very accommodating at all times. The tents were very comfortable and the amenities provided were adequate for our needs. The location of the resort is superb. At night the temperature dropped below 20C which made it very snug in our tent. There was little perceptible traffic noise from the nearby road at night.
