Good plac for healing.

The location of the house was far from Mae Kampong Village, we had to pay 500 THB for transport to get there and back. The home stay was amazing, we enjoyed our stay, next morning we could walk to the nearby coffee shop next to the water, before the lovely owner took us to the minivan meeting point, same as she picked up us there. I would recommend it. We will come back later, sure.

Great reception from the host who was very friendly. She helped us with transport to the walk street (this place is bit remote so be mindful of this). She also helped us with transport to Chiang Rai by a private driver since shuttle/van transport where fully booked on our check out day. After the van took us back she even provided us with extra blankets as we wished for. The stay wad just by the river which was nice but the water was very loud (our room faced the river) which made me bit worried about sleep but both me and my friend sleep very very well without earplugs. We got a delicious and vibrant breakfast in the morning too before our departure. Many many ++++ because of the remote place and the amazing hospitality by the hostess. Bless her pure heart.

“A secluded & unique homestay”

This homestay is located at a hilly village by a rushing stream about 5-6km away from the bustling Mae Kampong village. Mae Uai Homestay is very secluded, unique and sparkling clean .Fully equipped with all the necessary with strong wifi too. The host Miss Dang is very welcoming, helpful and attentive .As we checked in late, she goes the extra mile to show us where to grab some food before the food stalls closed. She cooked a nice hearty traditional breakfast for us to kick start a new day. A good place for people who want to experience a quiet period during which they can meditate, relax and rejuvenate.

The location by the river was amazing. The host was very nice, too. Breakfast was filling and very tasty.

Quiet place looking over a river. In the weekends they have local stalls that sells local food. If you're vegetarian it might be hard to find something suitable. A car might be good to explore the region as the area covers one street only. Good for people who want to take a break from the city.

Very friendly owner lady and treated quests with tender care. Room is comfortable and clean, bath room is simple but sufficient, dinner and breakfast was unexpectedly delicious. A dream home stay for enjoying mountain serenity.

For solo travelers like us, it is very important we meet nice and helpful people. Phi daeng is a wonderful lady, smiling all through the day. She makes the entire homestay a lovely place to be. The food is delicious and the house is clean and cool. It's located by a small stream which makes it more interesting to stay. You can go down for a splash anytime. The rooms are also very cozy with soft and clean beds. It was a wonderful three night stay. I will definitely go back again 😄
