I checked in that evening without a reservation because I missed the ferry to the island. It wasn't a problem—I didn't have to wait. It was fine for a couple of nights. Great location, just a short walk from the ferry to the Ko Samet island.

“Liviable environment cost extra”

There was hell like hot in the room, and they had AirCondition but the remote control was taken (we had to pay extra money for it = this is totally not acceptable). Without air con it is not pissible to be alive in the room. This is not an extra but a basic need here (and they know it exactly). The room carpet is very dirty but you have to take off your shoes… (why???? 😂😂😂😂😂) And especially for woman solo travellers, there are creepy old mans living in the street (we were shocked how many of them choosen to “live” here)… I would not recommend it. One extra tip for your travel plan = Koh Samet is not worth it, they call it nature reserve but that is only cosmetics, it is a trash bin, just a about the money. The nature is fully destroyed here. That is the ugly truth.)

Room okay

the room exceeded my expectations, the woman was friendly and went out of her way to deliver a charger to the bus stop when I had forgotten it, the common area was really nice

Location was close to piers leading to koh samet. They had decent free coffee and shampoo. The price was very cheap compared with other options

The location was right in the center. Seconds away for m a 7-11. Also there's a pub across the street. Very quiet. Must visit the Fighting Rooster place ! Can't miss it, The owner are very nice, I took many photos with them.

There was a common washroom on ground floor for 8 rooms and a dormitory. There was no ventilation in the room.

“Dont stay in Ban Phe - nothing to see/do”

Nothing. I changed hotels. During the dark night surrounded by unfriendly street dogs.

The owner Kitima is a lovely lady. She was so helpful and friendly. She organised my return taxi to the airport and helped me organise my speedboat. I cant praise her enough. She was so kind. I'm a 62 yr young lady travelling on my own and she made me feel safe and comfortable. I'd definitely stay there again

“Nice and simple hostel”

The girl who was working there was super nice and helpful. It’s really a simple hostel with basics . I got a private room instead of dormitory so it was nice.

The hostess was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and basic, good for a few days.

Very helpful lady who works there. For the price amazing value. Close to the port, the market and restaurants. Recommended.
