“Loved every minute of it, only wished I could stay longer”

There is nothing not to like in this wonderful place. The relaxed vibe begins when you roll up to be greeted by an assistant who then phones the manager who arrives on a scooter two minutes later to welcome you to Chater. This would be Leena (spelling?) who is as smiling, charming and friendly as can be. Out of season she runs the place on her own. When I needed to sort out my sim card she showed me to the appropriate shop. When I needed to eat out she showed me her favourite restaurants. When I wanted to spend time with elephants she took me to one of the better operated sanctuaries in the area. The spacious rooms are great with incredibly comfy beds and pillows. Very quiet and cool enough not to need the aircon or even a fan to sleep well through the sweltering March conditions. The pool is excellent. The wifi is reliable. And it really is this cheap. Simply gorgeous.

“An amazing place with jungle vibes!”

This is the best place we have ever stayed! It was remote in the jungle which we absolutely loved. The owners were very welcoming. They gave us lifts to go to the local restaurant in the evening and morning and also showed us around and took us to the waterfalls which are a 5 minute walk from where you stay. They also arranged for us to do white water rafting.

its one of the only places to stay in area. we went in low season (Oct) so very few options for food in area etc. property was nice and secluded. reasonable pool, charming doggies. near elephant sanctuaries and the river rafting. located in the rain forest, nice private waterfall. no complaints, but nothing exceptional either. the location was close to what we came for so it was suitable and convenient.

Do not let the lower price from the other places in the area fool you. The rooms are big with a balcony opening onto the forest. Comfy beds and clean rooms with a large bathroom. Highly recommend.

When we arrived at the place, everything was dark and it looked like there was no one here. The neighbours called the owner and soon after we were welcomed. We had the whole place just for ourselves! It's a very nice place with lots of green and close by the elephant nature park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They didn't serve food during our stay, but the owner led us to a local restaurant a few hundred meters away called 'JUST-FOR-REST', where they serve the most amazing Thai food!
