“Superb value, great stop off on the Samoeng Loop tour.”
Very pleasent stay. Charming individual huts with en suite and lovely veranda. Loved the sounds of nature in the evening and through the night. We were concerned about the potential of mosquitoes but they weren't an issue... Perhaps because it's the burning season? Owner was sooo helpful, polite & accommodating. Provided a vegetarian breakfast for us when requested. Samoeng is a great little town. Much more there than we anticipated. Local shops, stalls, market, vendors etc. Some amazing caves to visit just a few kms north of the town. We were really pleased to break up our tour of the Samoeng loop here. The loop is easily "doable" in a day from Chiang Mai but you won't get to visit the caves, waterfalls etc etc unless you take your time.

Everything, it was just perfect and the host was so caring 💚 I will definitely come back and I can recommend it 100% Even ir was super cold in the morning, there was a hot shower 🚿❤️ And she organized Yoghurt for me for breakfast ✨

Baan Suan View Thung is just a short walk from town, which was especially good for us as the fair was on and we wanted to investigate! The accommodation itself is very pretty and well-appointed with a really good shower, strong WiFi and great breakfast. The views over the central pond and surrounding fields are stunning. Our host was very friendly and helpful too. A great place to stay.

We were very well looked after - made to feel very welcome. We wanted a tranquil location and that is what we got. On arrival we were asked if we wanted a Thai breakfast for the following morning (spicy or not) which the host cooked specialty - it was delicious 👌 Western breakfast options were also available. . The external kitchen/ terrace area was of a good size .

“Wonderful stay”
Fabulous homestay with gorgeous views of the mountain and rice fields from your bed, a peaceful fish pond and complete silence in the heart of Samoeng. The hosts are extremely nice and caring, and the price is very affordable. I will come back asap!
