The location is great, right by the beach. Perfect if you want to be away from the noise and hustle of happening areas in Samui. The rooms are spacious and the pools are massive. The food is also great and not that expensive. The staff is kind and courteous. They have kayaking and some other activities, which sadly we weren't able to enjoy because of timings and weather.

Amazing rooms we booked the walk up pool room, large room comfortable bed. Very clean and rooms cleaned Daily. Good location if you want a quiet/chill vibe but only 20 minute taxi to the beach clubs markets and restaurants if you want a day or night out. There are shops nearby but not walkable would need a bike or taxi.

I had such a beautiful stay at Mai Samui Beach Resort & Spa 🤍 From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt calm, luxurious, and so peaceful — it’s the perfect escape if you want to truly relax and unwind away from the busy parts of Koh Samui. The resort is set right on a quiet beachfront, which made mornings especially magical. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pools were a highlight — plenty of space to lounge, and never felt overcrowded. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always going above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The service genuinely made the experience feel extra special. Food at the resort was also great, with a good variety of options for breakfast and throughout the day. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and slightly more secluded stay in Koh Samui, I would definitely recommend Mai Samui. It’s the kind of place where you can properly switch off and enjoy the moment. Would 100% come back 🥹✨

Very nice secluded area. Ideal for a break. Very friendly staff who go above and beyond to accommodate. The man that makes the omelettes in the morning was very good.

Beautiful gardens and pools with friendly staff

The staff were incredibly attentive and fast to deal with any issue (not big issue, just WiFi problem). The hotel was very luxe, and we were very surprised to be upgraded to a room with pool access. The pool was amazing and they have a beach with sunset views. The room was so gorgeous with a walk in tub ! We loved our stay there so much. You can also rent a moped from reception which is handy- the hotel is on a quiet side of the island which is beneficial however you will need a moped to get around as it's so big.
