Grand Hotel Balvanyos enjoys a tranquil location surrounded by forests, between Băile Tuşnad and Târgu Secuiesc, less than 10 km from the Saint Ana Lake. Free spa access is offered. All rooms are furnished in an elegant, modern style and offer panoramic views of the Cioma Mountain. Each of the spacious rooms at Grand Hotel Balvanyos comes with a minibar, air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and free wired internet access. Free WiFi is available in the public areas. Nestled among natural springs and secular fir trees, the hotel's Grand Santerra Spa stretches on over 2,000 square metres and features 7 swimming pools, 3 saunas, a steam bath and a salt room. The spa treatment was the best. It was more pleasant than 2 years ago. The breakfast was very delicious and fresh each morning. The dinner in Gastrolab restaurant was beyond good. I highly recommend it.

“The most perfect mountain resort”
Everything was gorgeous, the scenery, the room, the spa, I can go on all day. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of vegan/vegetarian options as well. Even though I only stayed for one night I’ll definitely come back

“Spa getaway in the mountains.”
The Restaurant with the specific romanian and hungarian dishes was great, it is really authentic. I think is called Gastrolab. The food there was great and I recommend it.

“The best resort in the area, wonderful spa, close to Lake St Ann”
It's a modern hotel with comfortable rooms, stylish interior, awesome big spa zone with indoors and outdoors parts. Many activities in the resort and in the area for all tastes. Beautiful nature around! Included breakfasts are very good. Aventura park on the hotel territory is cool.

“An great stay in the mountains, worth even taking a detour for it”
The resort definitely exceeded our expectations. 4 different restaurant, a large and well-equipped gym, a very extensive area for pool and spa, an amazing forest view, gift shops and more around the hotel itself

We had an excellent experience. The spa was outstanding, very clean and relaxing, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was spotless, and the staff was very kind and attentive. The whole resort is well maintained and offers exactly the comfort and tranquility we were looking for. In addition, the breakfast was very varied and delicious. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The spa is great, no fault there. Staff polite throughout. Breakfast good and diverse. The restaurants around are good, especially Forest.
