Overview
Overlooking a beautiful bay on Ireland’s south coast, Channel View offers peaceful accommodation with free Wi-Fi. A delicious breakfast with home-baking and local produce is served every morning. This friendly, family-run bed and breakfast offers spacious rooms each featuring a TV, hairdryer, tea/coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. The rooms also enjoy spectacular sea views. Guests can choose among the landscaped garden, picnic area, spacious lounge and sun room to relax. A traditional home-cooked Irish breakfast is served in the morning, offering local fresh fish when available. The small but lively fishing port of Baltimore is just a 10-minute walk away from Channel View. There is a ruined castle overlooking the harbour and regular ferries leaving for Cape Clear and Sherkin Islands. Bike rental and a barber/beauty service are available on request.

An amazing place to stay. The host is lovely. Stunning views from the room overlooking the bay, superb breakfast. Traditional pub a short walk away that has fabulous menu for dinner and as an added bonus, there is a band group that meet there and play traditional Irish music.

This place is simply magical! Margaret is a wonderful, hospitable host who makes you feel like you're visiting close relatives. Everything is clean, charming, and neat, with great attention to detail. The room has everything you might need. The breakfast was delicious, and the view from the window was beautiful. I highly recommend this wonderful place!o
