Overview
The 4-Star, Family Owned Villa Rose Hotel & Spa is in Ballybofey. It offers The Forge Bar, the award-winning Fara’s Restaurant and a cozy coffee bar facing out on to the bustling main street. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and free parking are available to guests. Complimentary bottled water and a well-stocked tea/coffee making facilities, including hot chocolate, are provided in each bedroom. The Spa features a spa hydrotherapy bath, steam room, foot spas and tropical showers which can be booked for a surcharge, or book a treatment and receive complimentary use of the Spa. A wide range of holistic & beauty treatments are available. The restaurant offers a varied A la carte menu with Bar Food also on offer. Villa Rose has live entertainment every Friday and Saturday and a traditional music session on Sunday evenings. Local activities include surfing, golf and horse riding. Villa Rose offers guests discounted rates in local department stores, and for local children’s activities.

Just a lovely pleasant stay. The food and service were fantastic. The spa was 10/10. There is nothing I can say against this hotel. Lovely quiet safe location. Highly recommended. A lovely relaxing night away. Breakfast exceptional

“Lovely hotel - ticks the renewable boxes as well”
The room was top rated, very happy. Food was excellent and overall the hotel was very nice. Breakfast spread was excellent. Finding out that the hotel is heated entirely by their own fully sustainable woodchip was an excellent bonus. Staff were friendly and the hotel is central in the town (as well as being beside the GAA stadium if your up for a match!).

“Nothing startling!”
Old dated basic room , was described as budget stay in our email however it felt as if we were being penalised, with a basic room, for using booking.com!

“Great stay at The Villa Rose Hotel”
Our overnight stay at The Villa Rose Hotel was very enjoyable from start to finish. Daniela was so friendly and helpful on reception and our room was very comfortable and very clean. It's so hard to find a good shower in a lot of hotels but the shower ticked all the boxes - really powerful with lots of hot water! Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We also ate lunch in the hotel and it was great too. We will definitely return to the Villa Rose in Ballybofey and look forward to our next visit.
