“Great base for Lofoten”

A large, spacious cottage, perfect for a longer stay. The beds are a bit small, but as described in the listing. It's a great base for exploring the entire Lofoten Islands. We stayed there for 10 days and had a truly comfortable stay.

Nice location on the waterside. Quiet. Well equipped kitchen. Free parking right next to the room.

Room was cosy and warm. Kitchen facilities were good. Bed was comfortable. No complaints. The location was fine with a car. Groceries like 5 minute drive and 10min drive to city. Some northern light viewing beaches within a 20minute drive too. Ended up being a great location to base up at while exploring Lofoten.

We really enjoyed our stay at your accommodation. The room was very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. It was nice to have free car parking. The location was also very convenient for us.

The location is beautiful , it's a wooden cottage in front of the ocean .The kitchen had all the amenities needed to make a full meal . The living area is comfortable and we had breakfast with the view of the ocean which was so nice. We even witnessed aurora in front of the cabin which was truly amazing

The property was very cozy, everything we needed was there. Also, there was a possibility to reserve sauna, which was a pleasure. Owners were very extremely kind and helpful.

“A total rip-off! Not worth it”

The setup of this place is extremely uncomfortable. The bed is placed literally in the kitchen, a tiny, unventilated space with no extractor fan, so you’re forced to sleep with the smell of everything that’s been cooked. There’s barely any space to wash dishes or even move around. It’s suffocating. The sleeping arrangements are absurd: bunk beds that require mountaineering skills to climb, and another bed placed in the hallway leading to the bathroom, meaning whoever sleeps there is right next to where everyone goes to the toilet. On top of that, the beds aren’t even made when you arrive; you have to do it yourself. The whole flat is worn-out, the furniture is old, and everything feels neglected. It’s falsely advertised as a budget option, but it costs nearly 200 euros per night in July, outrageous for such a terrible setup. To make it worse, you’re charged extra to use the shared washing machine. If you don’t want to clean the place yourself before leaving, they charge 50 to 70 euros for “cleaning” a space the size of a shoebox. To sum up: the space is cramped, poorly ventilated, and not worth the high price. It feels neglected and far from what’s advertised. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t recommend it.

Very welcoming hosts. They gave fresh fish to us when the boat returned in the evening. Delicious. Hope to get back one day.

It's a nice location very quiet except for a few cars passing but very rare. You can’t hear it from the inside.You a nice direct view of the fjord from your window.

We liked everything about our 2 nights stay. The position is really good, Mary Ann & Borge are great hosts, they welcomed us in a polite and nice way. The cottage was really really nice and cozy, we parked our car just outside the door. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed so good and the bathroom very clean. We took part to their fishing trip which was so funny and cool. We cooked “our” fish, it was exquisite.
