In picturesque Ballinskelligs, the 19th-century Old School House B&B is nestled between sandy beaches and stunning mountains on the Wild Atlantic Way. This guest house serves home cooked breakfasts, which are prepared using fresh, local ingredients. This bed and breakfast provides bright, traditional rooms each featuring a TV, ironing facilities, free tea and coffee and a private bathroom. Some rooms also boast beautiful mountain and bay views. Traditional Irish breakfasts are served each morning, including home-made bread, pancakes, Irish smoked salmon and local free range eggs and milk. There is a guest lounge with an open fire and a TV. Evening meals can also be enjoyed upon prior arrangement. Ballinskelligs Abbey, built in the 9th-century, is just a few minutes’ drive away. The local coastline is less than a mile away and perfect for walks, whilst the owners can help plan boat trips or suggest other local attractions. The area is ideal for kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, abseiling, golfing or horse riding. The area is known for its clear, dark skies, ideal for stargazing. Local attractions include the Ring of Kerry, and the property can arrange boat trips to Skellig Michael.
