A lovely renovated building with modern furnishings. Decorated with bits and bobs and history of the former Shop and owners. Well located for our trip to places we visited, its quiet and great for a couples weekend away. Check in/out was an easy process. Well done!

Wonderfully designed and renovated former butcher shop, a little gem, a home away from home. My wife said "I wish we were staying a week!"

It was literal minutes away from central Ballarat a the way they’ve transformed the butcher shop into this incredibly comfy, clean and awesome place to stay is great.

It had an outdoor area to escape the air-conditioning. Lounge, bedroom and bathroom were all separate from one another. Quiet street.

Mattress is very soft .only 1 rubbish bag. Needs little table instead of high bench to sit and eat at no small pots and pans no microwave dish shower floor gets very slippery main rubbish bins were left full

This is a fantastic property, beautifully styled with loads of ammenities. We loved the fan in the bedroom circulating the air and the heated floors. The backyard looked spacious and secure. We will be back !

I liked all the Personal touches. It was very quiet. The bed was amazing comfortable to sleep in and I loved being able to park my van right out the front

What a gem! Perfect for a night or longer. We were traveling through, had every you needed to cook, close to a supermarket. Bed was very comfortable. Parked out the front with a long trailer and the history of the shop and people framed on the wall was interesting sting and a great touch. We drove to the lake for morning tea and a walk through the gardens, great spot!

As our accomodation was fully self contained, we had facilities to make our own breakfast. The accomodation is very comfortble and we have stayed multiple times. Everything is 5 minutes away.

Unique stlying and the documents about the history of the Cash Butcher. Heated tiles were especially a nice touch. The ease of the front door lock system without the need for a key. There was lots of thought put into the little extras that people needed when they stay away from home. Just needed tissues and somewhere to put your suitcase that wasn't in the way. The nice touch of the text message from Jess if we needed any information or help.
