Overview
Accommodation Creek Cottages & Sundown View Suites, Ballandean is right next door to Granite Ridge Wines, Tobin Wines, Golden Grove Estate Wines, Ballandean Estate Wines and the Barrel Room Restaurant. It is a short drive to other local restaurants, shops and the Ballandean Tavern. You will discover more cellar doors of award-winning wineries, decadent chocolates, homemade apple pie, apple and berry picking, local artisan cheeses, olives, local jams, Girraween and Sundown National Parks all within a 20-minute drive. All cottages and suites offer a kitchenette, a dining setting and a living area with a sofa, a flat-screen TV and a fire place. All accommodation has private bathrooms with a shower, hairdryer, quality guest toiletries, tea, coffee, fresh milk and linen. Our property is 100 acres of fun with easy walking tracks to spot some wildlife or the man built pyramid. We have some fish in our dam who love to have some bread tossed their way, sit back on the pontoon with an evening drink and watch the feeding frenzy. Over at the Garden Bar, located at the front of the picturesque gardens of the main house and Sundown View Suites, you will find some picnic tables, lawn games and a communal kitchen perfect for groups or birthday celebrations.

“Very enjoyable stay for 3 nights.”
Good location - very close to several major wineries and major national park and not far from town with cafes and restaurants. Nice experience to be in middle of large property with wildlife (kangaroos) and cattle. Cottage was cosy and well equiped with table and chairs on deck for having breakfast with lovely views down to a lake. Bathroom was well set up for disability access.

Very well maintained property! Everything you could need including washing machine & drier. Fire place/air con in living area & electric blankets made for a very comfortable stay. Great facilities on property for group/family get together with communal out door kitchen/ plenty of seating/fire pit.

Spacoius and very well-appointed cabin. Excellent light in cabin with views from lounge. Large bedroom with very comfortable bed. Kitchen and bathroom had everything. Lovely and unexpected extras with a carafe of wine, fresh coffee beans and excellent bathroom products. Wood burner and reverse cycle air-com provided excellent heating.

The cottage was perfect, lovely and clean with very welcoming hosts. It had everything you needed and was close to all the places we wanted to see. We enquired about the drinking water one evening and our beautiful host brought 2 bottles to us which was very thoughtful.

Private with a lovely bush setting. Plenty of kangaroos and deer to see. Location is very close to several winery’s like Balladean, Tobin, Golden Grove etc. Wood fire was lovely and warm.
