Upon arrival at Chambres d'hôtes Chez Epicure, we were warmly welcomed by Audrey and Philippe and immediately felt at home with the smell of home cooked food in the air. Staying here, although for a short time, allowed us to experience not only Philippe's amazing cooking and Audrey's kind and welcoming demeanor, but additionally allowed us to try the local food and emerse ourselves in a small, intimidate part of Switzerland.

It was a public holiday and the owner was doing everything. He didn’t speak any English but despite that we managed to get our room, store our bikes safe and had a good dinner and breakfast.

Chez Epicure felt very welcoming, comfortable and homely. It was a nice place to relax after walking on the Via Francigena, for which it is well situated. The hosts spent time talking with me and provided local information.

“Immediate home away from home by wonderful hosts”

Audrey and Philippe are such wonderful hosts, we felt right at home! We came with 3 bikes doing a larger bike trek, and it was great to be able to store our bikes in the garage (and pump up the tires), have a great meal (both for dinner and breakfast) with produce and dairy from the region, adjusted to one of our vegetarian diets, and enjoy their company and hospitality. We also really enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi as a way to relax after a long day of cycling. The village is pretty, and it's perfectly located along different outdoor routes (hiking/cycling). We stayed in the dortoir, which was exactly what we wanted! Many thanks.

“wonderful place to forgot city life”

family people so kind keeping my son 10 years old likes this family there were many books games . he was so happy stay hotel as like home .breakfast was so many .. i like swiss cheese and yougert and milk all . we will come back soon

It easy to reach by public transport. The property is well maintained, clean, tastefully decorated, cosy, warm, well lit and has the best husband and wife hosts.

Audrey & Philippe are very nice hosts and the building is amazing, being located on the road of the Jura Route #7 and therefore perfect for cyclists. The breakfast was very good, as well as the dinner being homemade by the hosts. A special highlight was the way to my shared room, having a hidden magic entrance. You have to come for a visit to find out. ;) Thanks Audrey & Philippe making my bike journey special!

Fantastic hosts provide a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed a delicious evening meal with the owners learning about the local region. Comfortable room. Great communication during booking and convenient location driving from the UK. Would definitely return for another stay.

Extremely friendly hosts. You get offered to have dinner with them and the other guests. Very quite location, ideal to have nice walks or rides in the Jura mountains.

We had a wonderful welcome and help to store our ebikes, followed by drinks on the terrace. The rooms were clean and well equipped. The location is perfect for the Route 7 bike route as well as walking. We booked evening meal (Table d'hotes9 which was fantastic. We had great conversations with other guests. I would highly recommend this place. A very welcoming environment.

Extremely friendly and open hosts, perfect for solo travelers who want to meet new people or for folks who like to be “within” the family. Dinner was good and breakfast well served at the long wooden table, shared by all guests. As we were aspiring for a romantic get-away, it did not really fit our expectations. Very simple settings, little feeling for aesthetic.
