“Quaint, comfortable, atmospheric and friendly.”

Quaint, guesthouse style hotel. We were early in the season and the only guests! Comfortable, clean, traditional rooms with excellent view of village and fjord beyond. Very good breakfast. Our host was very friendly and welcoming with excellent recommendations for walks and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The room had a balcony and a superb view. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was quite sufficient, but nothing special. The manager was very honest. He charged less than the cost we expected from Booking.com, as it seems that the Booking.com price was for three people in the room, which they can easily do with an extra single bed

We spent a lovely night at the hotel - the staff is very friendly and helpful, the beds are super comfortable, the rooms spacious, and the views are stunning. They also offer a good breakfast, great games/reading rooms, and guest kitchens.

Good location in the centre and near some local restaurants. Worth paying extra to get a balcony room with views of the fjord. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Very friendly staff.

The owners were very knowledgeable about the area. I loved the smaller hotel vibe and the balcony was perfect for relaxing on. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.

“Friendly, cosy hotel worth the money!”

Very friendly people and a very feel at home place! Our room was on the second floor. There is no elevator but we were offered help with our luggage which was very nice! We had a small room (was advertised as such) which was certainly ok. Pity that bed was against the wall on 1 side without bedside table or reading light. Bathroom got a bit wet when showering but was easily solved by putting a small towel on the floor. Bathroom is not big enough for 2 people at a time. Breakfast was very good and continuously replenished. The hotel offers 2 guest kitchens, a common sitting room with games and tv (no tv in room) and a room with tables and chairs where we played a game. We had our dinner (salad bar from Extra) on the common balcony which also has several tables and chairs and where you can enjoy the nice view. There is free coffee and tea in the breakfast room. This hotel is certainly value for money. Thank you for a nice stay!

The view from the hotel was beautiful! The manager on site was also very helpful and answered all of our questions. The included breakfast was simple but delicious.

This hotel was in a lovely spot on the hill with a beautiful view. Private rooms with ensuites and had a BnB vibe with guest kitchens for cooking but also a cooked buffet breakfast provided - best of both worlds! There was a games room downstairs and common areas for relaxing and eating. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Plenty of free parking on site. Definitely recommend!
