“Near the beach with en-suite”
It was near the beach and the facilities were sufficient for our stay. We had our own toilet and shower, and we could use the shared fridge.

“A really good no frills choice for the reason.”
Close to the station and extremely good value, this was a last minute booking in a busy tourist town. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom, and well appointed facilities. A really good no frills choice for the region.

The guesthouse is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. The single room was small, but clean and quite comfortable. The owner is very kind.

Very good value for money. I parked the motorbike inside the private courtyard. Staff was helpful. At the entrance there is a fridge and a cattle you could use.

“Interesting atmoshere. Could have been better, but also much worse.”
The room was functional and clean, possibility to by coffee from the landlady, not too far to walk to the seashore, shops, cafes or station.

The staff was very helpful in everything, they gave us a cup of coffee for free, and László helped us in the car with the battery problem.

I did not have the chance to stay there because even though they confirm the booking and I payed everything in advance, they cancel my reservation because they were overbooked. Is the first time when something like this happened to me on Booking even though I travel a lot. I received my money back after a few days, but it was not pleasant to block the money and to have to find another accommodation.

“A perfect place for a quiet stay at a European countryside.”
A really beautiful place close to the Balatonszarszo railway station. The family is warm and hospitable. The place is so serene and scenic, very close to lake Balaton. I would definitely recommend people to come here.

the while place is very clean, but the bath leaking and water comes out on the floor. I had to clean it myself. the owners speak a bit German, but not English.
