“Really nice place, idyllic setting”
A lovely place for a stay in a quiet but great spot on Lake Balaton. I have already stayed there once and enjoyed my stay again. The location is idyllic. Nice hosts who serve very good breakfasts in a nice outdoor setting. Balatonbereny is a low key area compared with others on southern shore of Lake Balaton but better for it. Recommend highly.

“Lovely quiet rural environment, a place to enjoy a stay in Balatonbereny”
A lovely place in a very quiet area of Lake Balaton. The owner was very helpful with a particular problem. There is a very nice restaurant here also. The room was very pleasant, looking out over the Hungarian countryside. A nice environment all round. The best feature of Balatonbereny in general is the excellent beach by the campsite. Overall an interesting contrast to Siofok and Keszthely. Really rural Hungary for sure. I should add the train station is 500 metres away, so all Lake Balaton resorts and towns are easily within reach. One train an hour or every two hours to Budapest.
