Overview
Built in 1910, Dalfruin B&B is a beautiful Edwardian-era house with period furniture, stained glass windows and high ceilings. Each unit has a private entrance, self-catering facilities and free WiFi access. Set in a lovely English garden, all apartments are self-contained with a lounge area, dining table and spacious en suite bathroom. All units have a kitchenette, including a refrigerator, microwave and kitchenware. Free breakfast is provide in all apartments, including a coffee machine with pods. Instant or peculated coffee are also available free of charge. Dalfruin Bed & Breakfast is just a 5-minute walk from Bairnsdale town centre. Breakfast provisions are provided in each room. Facilities include luggage storage and a gas BBQ. Dalfruin B&B is in a quiet location, less than 500 metres from the Mitchell River. It is a 15-minute walk to Bairnsdale Railway Station.

We liked the location, easy distance to walk to the shops and local places to eat. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The gardens were cute and so much nicer than staying at a Motel. Our room was well appointed and comfortable. We went on the suggested walk from our host and went to the eateries that were suggested. We were glad that we chose this stay at Bairnsdale over Lakes Entrance as on our way out we went through this alternate location and found it so much more crowded and busier.

“Great find lovely hosts”
It was a lovely apartment, quiet, shower was good, bed comfortable. The host had thought of everything and provided lots of information on the area. The town is about 15 minutes walk and had a great curry, we also walked along the river.

The room had all you could want. Spacious, well appointed and clean. The hosts made us feel right at home. An excellent continental breakfast was also provided.
