“Great place to be!”

Wonderful people and a pleasant place to relax! Negist, the housekeeper, was very good to us. We enjoyed good breakfast and dinner in the beautiful garden! Her son Gash helped us a lot to arrange our remaining time in Ethiopia and was always available for questions, also after our stay. With his help it turned out to be an unforgettable journey through the north of Ethiopia!

The host is fantastic and always attentive, breakfast was really great, position is perfect to go downtown. I particularly enjoyed the garden! Overall, it was a perfect stay. Thank you very much for making me feel like home.

It's a very nice and quiet place, in walking distance of the market, lake, restaurants... The garden is full of birds and I enjoyed it after a day of sightseeing. Accomodation is simple but cute and comfortable, nice hot shower, nice decoration. The host was very kind. Prices for excursions were fair and all was quickly organised and well done. I can recommand the churches on the lake of the long trip. Full day but such a nice time on the lake! Their boat was fast and not noisy. It's a small place, family running style, but welcoming and peacefull. So it's definitivly a place where I would return if I have the occasion.

The Annex is a gem in Bahir Dar. I wish we'd stay longer. It's a 5min walk from the port, they can arrange trips for you. The courtyard is very peaceful, the room ultra cosy, shower hot and strong, and the bed so comfortable we had the best sleep in a while! The breakfast was a feast, and though it's not a restaurant they can make you home made dinner, simple but so tasty! Don't hesitate any longer and book your stay there!
