There are places where there is a simplicity that you never forget. Other places have something extra that makes unforgettable. It makes you feel good to feel important and well taken care of. That's Del Prato. A simple place with the warmth of its owner Sandra, who made me feel like was at grandma's house. I don't speak Italian but I understood and felt understood. In the center of Bagnoregio, just a walk to Civita. I recommend it ❤️

I highly recommend this place for the strategic position, cleaningness, cozyness, but above all for the host s kindness. You can have the chance to taste Sandra's breakfast, a variety of homemade pastry delicatessen. You feel better than home. I will come back for sure. They know how to take care of the guests!

The B&B was beautiful and had a cosy cottage feel. The location was optimal, close to all the main attractions. The host was so kind and helpful. I would recommend the B&B Del Prato to any couple seeking a relaxing break in the Italian countryside.

“Excellent value, spacious accommodation in old stone building, terraced in the heart of Bagnoregio”

The room we selected comprised three sleeping areas, a lounge, kitchen and roof terrace plus bathroom. The layout was cleverly done, with spiral staircases to the upper levels (numerous steps involved getting to the flat too, so not suitable for people with limited mobility). There was plenty of space for two people on our short stay. Sandra provided a delicious breakfast and a free parking permit for the nearby public car park (5 minute walk). Loading and unloading is tricky but possible if you ignore the parking restrictions, like the locals seem to! Civita old town is walkable from the B&B, taking about 30 minutes (with a drinks stop half way in bar Caffè Belvedere due to the heat). For some reason many places in Bagnoregio were closed that day. Luckily restaurants in Civita were open (pre-booking essential).

Great breakfast, 10 minutes away from Bagnoregio by foot. Parking is included.

The house is beautiful, and we were fortunate enough to have the evening alone in it to cook and make ourselves at home. Sandra is so kind and a fantastic cook and left us beautiful cakes to snack on as well.
