Swimming pool, coffee, hotel style

“A lovely spring break in a traditional hotel with pool in the Tuscan hills.”

We enjoyed two nights at this welcoming traditional hotel in the centre of Bagni Di Lucca ,using it as a base for walks up the hills and along the river. The en suite room was a fair size, clean and comfortable, with a balcony and view over the rear terrace an pool. The heated outdoor pool was great - we were delighted it was open in early May.

An old historic biilding in an old village close to amenities. Very friendly host. Large room. Spacious grounds. Good breakfast.

Complimentaries in the room. Very nice, cosy and clean room, excellent setvice and breakfast. Perfect location with parking spot. Will be there again and highly recommend

Location, nice facilities, friendly staff

The hotel is really nice with nice and clean rooms, a very friendly and professional staff and a poolarea that is just top-notch! The breakfast was really nice and having it served outside in the lovely patio was just a wonderful way to start the day! The location of the hotel made it easy to get out in the evenings to the rest of the small village and the owner Roberto was always happy to help with anything!

The town is very small and therefore the location of the accommodation with a beautiful heated pool is very nice. Unfortunately I did not have a view of the other side where the pool is but on the side of the road where with the window closed I could not hear the traffic on the road. The rooms are clean, parking is nearby.

Great location. Typical old Italian hotel with characterful features. Easy access to public transport. Bus to train station across the road from hotel. Restaurants all within short walk. Pool was a welcome bonus after busy days walking. Staff very friendly. Great breakfast. Lovely area for exploring beautiful Tuscany.

“Very relaxing stay with dog”

Breakfast was exellent allso for glutein free choises. Allso Service was superfredly.

We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. The building is very old and charming, while the rooms are equipped with everything we needed. We really liked the way the landlord preserved its old charm. I didn't find the furniture old or outdated (as in some of the comments I have read here), on the contrary, it very much kept with the hotel's atmosphere. Breakfast in the small garden was a very nice addition. We felt very welcomed and were able to breathe some of the old air of Tuscany.

It was beyond our expectations, the hotel has a wonderful energy, same as the location, which is not fully captured by the photos. Very clean and highly maintained with a beautiful garden and pool with salt treatment and no chlorine! The staff is very kind and helpful. The owner is dedicated. We highly recommend this place.

“Really too expensive for what you get”

The breakfast and the lady who served us, the mattress were good too and large.

Loved the old world style of the hotel. Some many beautiful original features, but not lacking in comfort. The pool, in that beautiful river valley setting was pretty special. Oh, and breakfast out on the terrace given it was summer. Would certainly stay again.

I liked everything about the property. The staff were exceptionally kind and hospitable. The building is an impressive old palazzo and the rooms are large and comfortable. Breakfast in the garden is lovely . The pool and terrace are elegant and modern and the views are beautiful.

Local, authentic and historic hotel. A real sense of tradition in the town.
