“Alpine bed and breakfast, with hummingbirds!”
We stayed for a one night stop over between Coca and Quito (via Papallacta hot springs). Alpine bed and breakfast with a lot of character, a 5min taxi ride from Baeza town (Rodrigo the owner did offer us a ride). The garden around the property is amazing, we saw at least 4 species of hummingbirds and they had some kind of alpacas/lamas. Nice waterfalls to check a 5min walk straight from the back of their garden. You can order dinner from their restaurant in town to be delivered at the property. They also have some guided tours of the area, next time we'll have to stay longer!

“Lovely stay in a beautiful house outside of Baeza”
Beautiful house. The rooms are big with a private bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and we loved that there was a service to have dinner when we arrived in the evening. The host was very nice and he gave us some advise what to do in the neighborhood

“Great family run hotel”
The location is great, it is away from the town but we liked that as it was peaceful. They have the most friendly and affectionate ginger cat that gives you cuddles and a lovely dog who is always available for a stroke. The family that run the hotel are lovely and very welcoming.

Everything: the spacious interior, the rooms with balconies, the bathroom, the location, the special treatment by the managers to every detail. Definitely this is a perfect place to stay on the area either on your way to enter the Amazonian region or if you are looking for ecotouristic adventures as rafting, kayaking, biking, nature watching 👍🏻 at an unbeatable price!
