We had a wonderful stay. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking, and the breakfast was delicious. We especially want to commend the female staff member working in the breakfast section—she was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality!

“Exceptional”
Felt like the middle of nowhere in a good way! This is a fantastic, mountainous view, isolated secluded location. Away from the crowds but centrally located. Room was just perfect. Only set up 1 1/2 years ago so everything very modern and new. Free coffee/tea on arrival was very special after a long day have of driving. Walls adorned with photos from around the island, we reminisced what we’ve done and where we’re going to. Lovely breakfast was included in our package. The owner was so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Would go out of our way to stay here again. This was our top one in the region.

“Nice”
We stayed in the small separate rooms away from the main hotel building, and they were fully equipped (a small private bathroom, desk, and little private terrace). It was fantastic. The host was lovely, and the breakfast was generous.

Nice hotel, very remote. Staff was very helpful and chatty, giving us plenty of details about the area, weather etc. The living room area was really cosy and nice. Room was clean, with a nice view of the nearby river and the large grass plane. The hot water in the bathroom is geo-thermal, so it has a specific sulphur smell, but leaves the skin so soft.

“10/10”
The best stay we had in Iceland! Staff was kind, room was great and breakfast was good. We also ate dinner there and the food was good and the restaurant was cozy. We definetly will stay here again when we come back to Iceland🇮🇸.

“Really good value for money”
The property is very clean and well maintained. I loved the decor and little touches that truly make it feel like home. The inn is around 2h away from the airport and it is secluded, with not many options of restaurants or entertainment nearby, BUT we got the northern lights every night!!! Plus the drive to the hotel is amazing and some breathtaking views. There is a no shoes policy so make sure to bring slippers but even if you don’t the place is spotless. The hosts are really nice and always willing to help. The food they offer is very basic but good enough if you don’t want to drive towards Reykjavik or to the nearest restaurant. The breakfast was good value for money, with various sweet and savoury options. Bonus free water, tea and coffee throughout the day. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would 100% recommend. P.S. highly recommend Krauma spa and restaurant only 15mins away.
