“Relaxing evening and beautiful surroundings”
Set in the forest. All you can hear are the bird song and church bells in the distance. The staff are so welcoming and the rooms are clean and comfy.

“Nothing was too much trouble, felt very welcome”
The breakfast is a traditional German breakfast, everything you would need to start the the day, had coffee which was delicious as there wasn’t an English breakfast tea option. We had a wonderful experience, loved the amazing german hospitality and traditional clothes and ambiance, Our evening meal was outstanding, it was definitely the best dessert of our holiday and we had visited 5 countries.

“We’d return in a flash, perfect stay in a quiet location and lovely staff.”
Excellent family run hotel on the outskirts of Baden Baden near the Merkur funicular. This was our second visit. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a balcony which we didn’t really use due to the weather. The restaurant is excellent - good quality regional food.

Staff on arrival were a little prickly but that could be due to our very limited German, as the lady at breakfast the next day was lovely. The room we stayed in was massive but no tea or coffee facilities, which would have been nice after a long journey. We ate outside on the terrace restaurant on the first night, the food was traditional German fare and was lovely, waiting staff very pleasant although when they said they had finished their shift around 9pm they locked us out and had to walk around the building to hopefully get back in with our one room key, which thankfully it did open the outside door, as well as our room. Again possibly a misunderstanding though.

“Great location for Black Forest journey and amazing food and service”
Hotel was in a quiet area out of town, staff all helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean with complimentary water and bathrooms a great size. Free parking right outside and seating areas to enjoy when weather good. Dinner was freshly cooked and tasted great. The gentleman serving us was extremely helpful on portion sizes and recommended a great local wine. Fresh cakes and desserts were fantastic. Made us wish we were there longer. Hotel had WiFi. There is also a lift. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of fruits, cheese and meats, plus cereal and croissants.
