“Perfect getaway in Baden-Baden”

Perfect location in the green with a short walk to lovely Baden-Baden. Julia puts her heart and soul into this place (and the breakfast :P). Place felt instantly like home to us and this doesn't happen too often. Highly recommended :D

The host, Julia, was outstanding. So friendly and absolutely did everything that she could to make our stay perfect. The old building was beautiful and the interior decor was tasteful and very comfortable. We hope to return sometime.

“We can’t wait to visit again”

We loved the location. What a lovely way to walk to the city center, meandering through a beautiful apple orchard that is open to the public. Julia is a great host and she bakes yummy breads and cakes, so breakfast was amazing. We also loved the coziness of having breakfast in front of an open fire and chatting with other guests.

A nice quiet location. Rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast made daily by Julia was very nice and she customised it what i preferred :) Her english is perfect and no communication difficulties anywhere. I had to stay a couple of hours after usual checkout time to take a work call and Julia was very accomodating in allow me to use the common area for that. It is an easy walk to the city that cuts through an apple orchard and a park (lichentaler allee if i remember correctly). Its beautiful in the day, but i was pretty scared when i walked back at night alone. The apple orchard is very dark at night and you cant see more than maybe 10meters with a phone torch. The park is better lit but quiet in the evening/night. .

Julia was wonderful and absolutely went out of her way to spoil us and especially me with my food allergies - she's a gourmet cook and a wonderful host! Oh, and the location is stunning and great!

We were happily surprised with the location of this special B&B. green and quiet and a lovely easy walk through an orchard and the town park into glorious Baden Baden Julia created/designed this beautiful old coach house into a very stylish B&B. With a mix of old and modern it is full of character with all the comfort. From her cozy ,with log fire in the morning, rooms and showers, all is impeccable clean with beautiful touches. From booking to leaving Julia showed herself as a perfect host. clear communication about driving directions, special requirements for breakfasts, tips to do…. She gave us a very warm welcome with tea and home made muffins. Also breakfast was healthy delicious with the taste of love Julia put in meeting our personal requirements. Apart from all this we enjoyed the inspirational chats with her. It was a memorable stay and we would love to return.

“Spa like , retreat like place and great host 😌”

Julia was a great host. She provided healthy breakfast homemade buns, specially made spelled cakes with maca chiaseeds etc. Every morning I had the best breakfast and ambiance (woodfire breakfast nook) figs fresh garden tomatoes, and her kind smile made us felt like we were at a spa or retreat. “Delightful host”

Lovely comfortable room.

The place was an unexpected gem, calm and very well furnished. It is a bit outside of town but it is a very pleasant 25min walk through parks to reach the center. We got a really warm welcome from Julia who is putting lots of efforts in this place with the attention to the details and set an awesome breakfast for us in the morning. Highly recommended place

“STYLE AND QUALITY IN ABUNDANCE”

In short, everything. We stayed at Bed & Breakfast Grünes Gold am Leisberg for just one night while travelling south on the A5 motorway. The property is totally unique, with style and quality in abundance. Julia welcomed us on arrival, showed us to our room, offered drinks and made our dog very welcome too. The accommodation was actually 3 private first-floor rooms - bedroom, lounge and bathroom - all of which were very large (much bigger than we were expecting), and immaculately furnished and decorated. The bathroom had a superb corner bath and beautiful marble tiles. The vegetarian breakfast was served in the downstairs breakfast room, personally prepared by Julia, and consisted of a great selection of fruits, cheeses, breads, cereals, jams, fruit juice and eggs. All home-made and delicious. The centre of Baden-Baden is about a 30-minute gentle walk downhill through the gardens and park from Bed & Breakfast Grünes Gold am Leisberg. This is a great walk for anyone with a dog, with lots of space for off-the-lead exercise. We found the property relatively easily by the sat-nav, but we would offer one tip for future visitors - when entering Baden-Baden from the motorway on the main road 500, after passing through several sets of traffic lights, enter the tunnel, and part way through it, take the exit to the right. It curves round into the daylight, and you are then onto the streets that take you up to the accommodation. Parking is easy, adjacent to the front door. We would definitely recommend Bed & Breakfast Grünes Gold am Leisberg to anyone who wants a high quality stay in a beautiful property and setting, and within easy access to Baden-Baden town centre and the motorway.
