We had a great stay at Berkes Vendégház by Lake Balaton. The place was clean, spacious. Its location is fantasticand, good breakfast, and above all, we were incredibly impressed by our host's kindness and dedication. After we accidentally left our phone charger behind, she immediately called us and drove over 16 km to return it — all on her own initiative. That level of service is truly rare and deeply appreciated! Highly recommended

“Kind, family run B&B and Restaurant”

This place is a lovely family run business. We stayed in a family room which had a little lobby area with a corner sofa and fridge. The fridge was really useful in the summer heat to keep food and drinks cool. The bedroom was also spacious and had a very good air conditioning. From the windows we could see the sunrise and sunset, really great views! Windows have mosquito nets so you can open the windows at night and let fresh air in without getting eaten by these bloodsuckers. The owners and staff were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. The food selection for breakfast was great and very delicious. We also had dinner here one night which is also great quality for price. We would be happy to stay here again!

Great location, delicious breakfast (rántotta ❤️), super friendly staff, perfect for our 2.5-year old little one, nice apartment.

The room had a nice view and it was really clean! The hotel's location near the old Roman route gave us a wonderful start for a great walk to Badacsony.

The hostess of the hotel Niki is very responsible and helpful, she recommended us to visit Zalacaros water park, the best water park we visited ever. She gave us very good tips for visiting places for family with children. Very good and reach breakfast. Private parking, lake view, good location near to main road but very quit in the middle of Balaton lake.

The staff was super nice, the room and facilities super nice. The lake is a few minutes walk, we had a beautiful view of it. Excellent breakfast, good tips from the staff where to go.

“Exceptional”

The location is well-located, quiet, and has a great atmosphere. The apartment has its own private parking lot. We could leave our car before the official arrival time, and also leave it after the check-out time. The Host is very flexible, helpful, and friendly. The room was so clean, spacious, plus there is a bigger refrigerator. The view from our room to the Badacsony was amazing. The breakfast was fresh, copious, and tasty. We will come back.

Everything was amazing. The room was actually like 2 rooms with a big bathroom and everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpfull. The breakfast , who was included , was very nice and it had something new that you won't find everywhere ( french toast ) . The location was really good between the lake and the mountain.

Very large room, clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast including freshly cooked eggs, cereal etc. Plenty of space in the entry to the room to secure our bicycles.

The rooms were so clean that I could have slept on the floor. Bedsheets and towels smelled so good as if I was walking in a garden.

Apartman looks modern and cozy. Bed was comfortable.
