“A wonderful relaxing stay in a perfect location for hiking and sightseeing!”

Villa Emma is an absolutely stunning property and a peaceful location, walking distance to Bad Shandau centre and with good public transport links (We travelled by train from Berlin airport.) The host was very helpful and was quick to respond, we arrived a bit later than anticipated but finding the property and collecting the keys was simple and stress free. We stayed in apartment 6 on the top floor- it was beautifully decorated and furnished and we really loved the bright and spacious feel - the bathroom and kitchen/dining area is all glazed and looks out onto the rockface so was great to watch the birds!! We had a busy week hiking and sight seeing and the Gästekarte meant we had complimentary local travel, including the Kirnitzschtal historic tram. Hope to stay again at Villa Emma as there is so much to see and do in the area.

The interior, facilities, and communication with the host were all excellent and reflected a high level of professionalism. Laundry facilities are available for a small additional fee. Parking is convenient, either directly in front of the property or in a nearby parking area. The apartment is an excellent base for hiking and exploring the area. Many walking routes start right from the doorstep, while nearby bus and tram stops provide easy access to other destinations. The town centre of Bad Schandau can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot via a pleasant walk through the park, making it easy to enjoy the local restaurants and shops,

Villa Emma was the perfect stay for our stay in Bad Schandau. The apartment is simple but cozy, with an amazing view to the mountains and forest - I recommend going in the autumn. The kitchen is super well equipped with everything we needed to cook all of our meals there for almost a week. Natascha was very friendly over the phone when we called to extend our stay. The apartment is easily reachable by foot (around 20 minutes from the center) and by bus.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was very comfortable. While the location is a bit out of town, the walk in always felt very short as you can walk through a lovely park all the way. There are also bus & tram stops very close by.

Very cosy and spacous flat, nice views from the balcony. The flat is well equiped and very clean. The host is very responsive and polite. We enjoyed our stay and the views and the hiking trails, the nature and the cosy town.
