Set in the district of Schmilka, this guest house is a 5-minute walk from Saxon Switzerland National Park, offering hiking and cycling paths. The guest house is 350 metres from Schmilka-Hirschmühle Train Station. The rooms at Pension Fuhrmann´s Elb-Café are decorated in country-style, and include flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom. Each one has views of the surrounding mountains. A daily breakfast buffet is offered in the café with terrace, where homemade cakes as well as ice cream specialities are also available. Guests can use the tour desk and ticket service, which are available at the reception. Those arriving with bicycles can use the guest house's bicycle storage. The guest house is situated 600 metres from the Czech border, and the cities of Prague and Dresden are ideal for day trips.

“Perfect mini vacation”
Thank you so much for this magical stay! Everything was perfect. The Pension is located so conveniently close to all the hiking destinations, also close to the bus station/train station and the river. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, they selected a room for me very thoughtfully and were helpful throughout my check-in process. I had a great peaceful time. Breakfast was very good too. Whenever I will want to come back to the area, I will stay with them!

Everything was good. Extremely clean, comfortable bed. Amazing location nearby lake, room atmosphere, decoration was WOW! We felt like we stayed at granma’s home at the village :) Highly recommended!

“So convenient.”
Location is perfect. Can't be better. Direct walk up to the main trails. The staff was extremely sweet and welcoming. Breakfast was more than enough.

“Authentic, warm and loving cultural experience in the most amazing forest environment...”
Authentic experience, this is a truly family run B&B with a lot of detail and love put in. The food was good, the people better and I will be back as the access to the Mountain ranges, hiking routes and biking trails is all outside the door.
