“Nice hotel near to a center of a small city”
Bed was comfortable, very nice to sleep. Good location in a walking distance to the center. Good parking place next to the hotel. Breakfast was "normal" for a small hotel, though every morning it was the same. The place was clean. Owner family lived in that same house, and they were nice. Particularly the man was very helpful.

“Strongly recommend”
Although now under new ownership it continues to be as good as it always was with the previous owner. Delightful young family now own and run. (My wife and I have stayed at Hotel Hofmann Zur Mühle many times over the last 15 years).

“Excellent hotel in an excellent location.”
It is really good hotel in a very quiet German town near the Swiss border. It is only a short drive from the A5 so it is an ideal place to stay if you are travelling onwards.

“Perfect location to visit Freiburg.”
We used the hotel as a base to visit Freiburg and it was perfect for this, being only a relative short walk to the railway station. As a really welcome bonus, we were given free tickets by the hotel to travel into Freiburg, which was great. Breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The parking at the hotel is another great bonus.

“Great hotel for exploring freiburg. Nice standard. Bit overpriced.”
Good standard.big room. Nice garden. If you want to visit the beautyfull old city of freiburg tjis is an ideal place to stay. The receptionist helped us a lot to provide train tickets free of charge for the trip to freiburg. Saved us almost e 20.
