Overview
Surrounded by a large park in the Ammergau Alps, Das Seinz is a family-friendly organic nature-hotel and seminar centre in peaceful Bad Kohlgrub and features vegan and vegetarian organic cuisine. Entertainment for children, horse and riding therapy, as well as an inspiring supporting programme are offered. Das Seinz is a radiation-free accommodation and there are no TVs. All rooms come with a balcony with countryside views, a seating area, a safe and a private bathroom with shower. Free WiFi is available in the public areas of the property. A healthy breakfast buffet with home made organic bread is provided each day in the cosy restaurant with wooden beams, or on the outdoor terrace. A vegan and vegetarian buffet with regional organic produce is available for lunch and dinner. Guests can also bake their own pizza in the wood-fired oven. The area is popular for hiking and cycling. A large ski storage and preparation room is available. Cross-country ski tracks begin outside the front door, and a ski lift is just 500 metres away. Guests can book massages and healing treatments on site and can also take part in several group activities like Yoga, Meditation, guided tours and percussion. A free shuttle to/from Bad Kohlgrub Train Station is available. Within 30 km are Linderhof Palace and Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Lake Bad Bayersoier See can be reached after 5 km and lake Staffelsee is 13 km from the property.

"Excellent! We stayed here for a one-night stopover, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and plentiful. We stayed in a corner family room for five with a direct view of the ponies. The hotel grounds feature a petting zoo and playgrounds, which were great. Most importantly, the owner and staff were incredibly helpful; they gave us a personal tour of our room and the entire property. As a cherry on top, the staff prepared a cake for my daughter’s birthday! We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!"

The location and the activity they had near by close to ski and in the hotel they had a nice fireplace outdoor where we gathered to get warm.

“Great potential lacking in basics including warm and friendly welcome and food”
I liked the vegan concept. The hotel dogs were lovely like a home from home. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds comfortable especially soft duvets.
