Aussichtsreich Gast- und Logierhaus stunning panoramic views. It is beautifully located on a scenic hill overlooking the spa town of Bad Harzburg. The Aussichtsreich is a place with lovely hidden details and surprises. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and the meals were excellent. We highly recommend the house with the extraordinary location.

“Relaxation pure”
Both the evening meal (Flammkuchen Province and Creme Brûlée) and the breakfast were delicious and beautifully served with plenty of colourful fruit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, lending us a charger for our phones and giving us tips on the best food combinations, which turned out to be spot on! The room was tastefully decorated and spacious with a fire and a vinyl player. The balcony had a little table and two chairs (chair cushions provided) and was perfect for sitting out in the sun or watching the sun set in the evening . The views were spectacular and it was so quiet and relaxing that winding down was extremely easy so that we came back rested, even after just a short stay. Wifi was also excellent so that we were both able to work in the morning before leaving. Both checking in and out was simple and staff were very relaxed about times - breakfast runs until 11.30 and you can pack up afterwards, before wandering over to the cable car to travel back down. All in all, one of the best stays I’ve had in a hotel in a long time and I can fully recommend this place for anyone needing to get away for a bit.

“Perfect for those wanting a quiet holiday”
Fantastic hotel up in mountains. Access via cable car - last trip from bottom kl. 18. So, at least when it is dark early, one stays up at hotel until dawn next day. You can walk down the mountain but we had a puppy with us, so this was not an option. Also there was no lighting on path, so impossible to negotiate in dark. Food and staff excellent. Room had balcony overlooking the mountains.We would definately visit again.
