The surrounding Harz National Park contains many trails for hiking, mountain biking or cross-country skiing. The Hotel Glück Auf offers a garage for motorbikes.

“Nice place and good value for your money”
It was simple but clean and well taken care of. Although the area and village are not the freshest, the hotel itself has some history, the atmosphere was quite nice, warm and functional
