Set in a historic building at the foot of the Kyffhäuser Monument, Burghof Kyffhäuser offers a terrace and beer garden. It is located in Bad Frankenhausen. Berga-Kelbra Train Station lies 10 km from the property and the A38 motorway is 15 minutes by car. Free parking is available.

“Mountain hotel”
The location is great and I would give the restaurant a 10 and its staff. We had a very nice meal there. Breakfast was good. The hotel is a really historical place built to support visits to the nearby monument. There's nowhere else to stay nearby and it is certainly an experience. Very quiet. Good stars.

Really good choice of food on the buffet for breakfast. Helpful friendly staff who tried their best with our very poor German. Wish we had had more time to explore the area and monument. They kindly accommodated us in the restaurant despite arriving towards the end of the service time and could not have been more helpful. The food was ample and delicious.

“Perfect weekend away”
This was one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. Spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Beautiful breakfast buffet. Peaceful location.
