The Grand Ducal Lodging House from 1795, the first hotel on the German Baltic Sea coast, reopened in June 2023 after complete renovation. The Hotel Friedrich-Franz-Palais offers elegant new classic rooms and suites with soundproof windows and a high level of sleeping comfort in new beds, as well as large-screen TV and 2 WLAN systems with broadband connection. A sumptuous breakfast buffet awaits you. The menu is Mediterranean and regionally oriented. In winter with an open fireplace and 4 lounges. The wellness area has 3 saunas, a golden tub, fitness and a glass dome facing the starry sky.

“Very nice & stylish hotel with a very good location.”
Room was very clean and looked recently renewed. Nice and comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious.
