This traditional hotel is set in the idyllic wine-producing region of the Middle Rhine Valley, a world cultural heritage site. The hotel is quietly located in Bacharach-Steeger Tal and is surrounded by forest countryside. The spacious rooms are very quiet and face the forest, include a seating area with cable TV, and a private bathroom. Mon.-Sun. Breakfast buffet: Mon.-Fri. only with pre-order. Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 08:30-10:30 in the rustic-style breakfast room with wooden furnishings. A wide range of restaurants can be reached by car within 5 minutes. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walks and hiking. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the historic centre of Bacharach, famous for its medieval architecture. The A61 motorway is a 15-minute drive away and Wiesbaden can be reached in 40 minutes by car. 24/7 Self Check-In, feel free to arrive at any time. All rooms are air-conditioned. “Would stay again”
The beds were comfortable and the area was very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was ok, there were eggs, a few types of cheese and ham, some cereal, yoghurt and jam.

“Very nice hotel, highly recommended!”
Everything was great! We even asked for late check out and it was agreed without extra charge! It is also very easy to park in front of the hotel for 4 euro per day! Self check in was also very convieneient!

+ easy web based self check-in (passport/ID needs to be sent over email or whatsapp in advance); + spacious and well designed room; + reasonably priced parking just across the street; + lovely walk through the wineyards to the viewing point above the town and then by quite steep stairs down there to visit the "Kleines brauhaus" and explore the old town

“In the heart of a natural and cultural paradise, the Obere-Mittelrheintal”
The experience was amazing. Even when I arrived after midnight (due to losing shortly a train connection at Bingen, my own fault), the code that had been given to me by the staff and the video instructions for the check in allowed me to enter without hassle. After a relaxing bath and an amazing night of sleep, I enjoyed a lot the beautiful back yard, enjoyed a delicious and abundant breakfast and attention by all the staff. Really look forward to go back sometime, maybe to complete the whole train along the World Heritage Site.

Fascinating old building, it would be interesting to know more about it. Secure garden parking for bikes overnight. Very quiet.
