Need lots of maintenance! Tv didn't work well, bathroom wasn't it comfy, TV remote no cap so the battery kept falling off, etc

So amazing being directly on the lake - stunning views. Access to kayaks for free was really special. We went out at sunset and were the only ones out on the lake, it was stunning. Views from our bedroom Clean white sheets Hot shower, good pressure

“Incredible views over the lagoon, but dated accommodation”

Amazing location on the lagoon! Waking up to direct uninterrupted views of the lagoon is very special indeed! We stayed in the “Balesta” apartment on the top floor which is very spacious and benefits from a large balcony (with direct views of the lagoon) and private kitchen. The location is what you are paying for here - the accommodation/ facilities are outdated and would benefit from modernisation. It’s out of the main town but taxis are readily available and reception can help order/ book them (c. 70 MXN pesos to the centre, 5-10 min drive). The staff are very friendly, Veronica was especially helpful helping us to arrange taxis and tours - thank you!

This was an excellent area right on the lagoon. They staff was excellent very friendly and helpful. I got to meet the owner he was very gracious and his cousin the manager was very cordial and informative and very helpful. I will be back for sure.

The location with wonderful views over the lake is fantastic and the gardens were beautiful and well looked after. The shower in the bathroom had great pressure and there was always hot water and there is a big storage room for clothes

Exceptional inside and out. The hotel was on the lagoon and it was beautiful. Hotel offered tours if you were interested.

The location was perfect ! Right on the water allowed us to swim and kayak whenever we pleased. Gorgeous views from the balcony.

“Right on lagoon with kayak access”

Right on the water front, great hammocks you can lie in and kayaks you can rent for 150 pesos an hour. We paddled across to the other side of the lagoon which took about 3 hours return.

The swimming pool was big, nice and clean, with lots of sunshine and good view from the lagoon.

My room was right on the deck which was wonderful, I could watch the sun coming up in the mornings. Nice & clean & a very comfortable bed. The location right on the lagoon is fantastic - it's peaceful & beautiful for a few days to chill out, there's also paddleboards, kayaks & a small pool available. It was nice to have sunloungers on the deck, although they were wooden & not very comfortable- cushions would be a good idea! The dock area was lit at night which made it lovely to sit outside at night, or have a late swim!

“Budget rooms, nice spot if you have transport to get in and out of town”

The service was great. We found the room to be quite smelly of chemical cleaning products and devoid of a few essentials like a refrigerator. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and the paddle boards and kayaks were a great touch. It is out of town so best if you have a car or take taxis.

We had a car, so the location worked great! It’s a beautiful location. We booked an apartment with a view and it was great. The restaurant on-site was reasonable.

- The location is amazing, with the balcony for our apartment straight over the water facing East. Sunrise was amazing! The water so blue and full of fish. I twice saw a Box Turtle from the balcony, amazing! - the family apartment is large with separate kitchen. - the free use of kayaks and paddle boards (for 1hr officially per day) with a nice dock area - the staff were very friendly and seemed to do their best to help when asked - there is parking onsite - the beds are comfortable. - there is air conditioning and very good thick curtains, though the AC did seem to make the room smell. - there is a restaurant onsite which we did not use but seemed nice and brought life to the place
