It's a really pretty and charming place. Great, quiet option for backpackers, surrounded by vegetation with a very nice host. It has a great atmosphere, there are pretty kitties, playful dogs, neighbours' chicken come for a visit. It's pretty far from the lagoon, but they have bikes for rent.

The superior room was a mattress on the floor of a wood cabin with no mosquito net and no ventilation. The property is rural with dogs running around I did not stay

We loved our stay here. We were upgraded to a cabañita. Lovely communal areas. The owner and her son were really nice. 30 min walk to the lagoon. Clean and welcoming.

A pleasant place run by a lovely family. You can stay in the dorm or in one of the two small cabins. The cabin beds are comfortable and they have a fan. It has solar heated water and a well-equipped kitchen. They have an arrangement for lagoon access and kayak rental at a restsurant/Glamping site. It had safe parking outside the property. There is a Tienda 6 nearby with snacks and drinks. I had a car, but other people said it was an easy walk to the lagoon, despite the location. Bacalar is small. I would stay again.

A cosy peaceful spot to stay with easy walking to the centre, everything you need and lovely staff! Really enjoyed my stay here :)

The owner was really friendly and offered us to stay in another room. The place was lovely but seems like it's not taken care of for a while.
