“Spacious apartment with nice view of the lagoon”

Clean, spacious room with great view of the Bacalar Lagoon on the balcony. Kitchen was well stocked (although it could use a cutting board). Door to the kitchen could be closed, which kept the noise of the fridge out of the bedroom (highly appreciated). There was also access to the lagoon for swimming and hanging out. Nice and friendly owner. Would stay there again.

“Amazing view”

I liked the location and the view. My partner liked the air con. You're right at the lagoon, and have the view from the bed (the sunrise is a bit hidden by the trees), but it's still amazing to wake up to it at the lagoon and step onto the balcony in the morning. Compared to other place's prices, it's really good value. For the same price or more in other places around, you get a room in the back without a view. So just for the view and location I would book the place again. It's outside of bacalar, so it's quiet, but it's only 7 minutes drive to all the places in bacalar. We had some rain while we stayed, so couldn't be in the lagoon much, so we asked for a late check out, which was amazing, so we could go for a little swim in the morning before we left, which we really appreciated. We loved the palapa over the pier, it's small, and there is just space for a family at a time, but we were lucky that there were not many houses booked, while we stayed.

“Beautifully peaceful stay”

The bed, pillows, and bed linens were very comfortable. The normal-sized refrigerator, hot plate, and kitchen was very nice. The balcony was delightful with an amazing view of the lagoon. The dock with chairs and a ladder made swimming and lounging easy. Super clean. No noise from neighbors was nice. The mini split air con unit worked wonderfully and silently. The bathroom door was lovely. What a great stay!

Overall, it was a good experience. Great location and beautiful view for the lagoon.
