“Nice place, but much too expensive.”
Coffee should have been included with the price of the room. Kiiiya is a cafe, but I had to walk to MacDonald's in the morning for coffee?!

The premises is very clean and new. Very friendly host. Beds are very comfortable. Abt 1.2km walk from nearest Hotaka train station.

Very stylish, modern clean, comfortable property with very welcoming staff who helped us plan our hike around the area. Really nice lounge area for hostel guests. Walking to the trailheads for Mt. Hikarujo about an hour walk (5km)or you can cycle. Big supermarket and big Muji store nearby

The staff was very helpful in helping to plan my travels to nearby points of interest. And even though they did not have any vegan menu options, when I asked the staff for some separate items from the menu, they cooked up a feast for me!

“Great spot in Azumino!”
Excellent facilities, new and clean, cosy. Nice bathrooms. About 1-1.5hrs from Hakuba, which is workable for the fields. Also close to restaurants in Azumino. The staff is also very friendly and helpful.

“Great deal, reasonable price, perfect location.”
The facility was great! The staffs were also very friendly and helpful. The lounge area was really comfortable. There's a water machine and a microwave too which is really convenient. I would happily stay there again.

“Good respite before/after trekking at Azumino”
Staff is friendly and helpful. I left my knapsack and came back for check-in later. The room is typically Japanese small and no furniture except a tiny lamp but the bed is big & comfy. The restaurant downstairs has served both breakfast and dinner. Though the menu is limited, the food tastes good.

5 mins to Muji and Uniqlo stand alone store. 10 mins to Daio wasabi farm. Quiet neighbourhood. Trendy cafe on ground floor. Good restaurants nearby.
