Friendly and efficient welcome. The hotel is beautifully presented in a converted nineteenth century school. Comfortable bed, excellent shower. very good breakfast. Right in the centre of the overly village. Plenty of good restaurants. Booked a space in their garage.

Very cosy and well-designed hotel in the middle of the town at only 100m of the entrance to the magnificent Chateau de Azay. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and a tasty breakfast on the outside terrace.

Thomas at the guest was a huge help in assisting us with dinner recommendations and reservations and extremely hospitable and friendly. The garden room was bright and airy and the hotel was very quiet overall.

We loved the location, the staff and the courtyard. Our room was a bit tight and dreary. The window opened on to the courtyard The breakfast was great.

It was all good but there was nowhere to put your clothes in the room. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Good service. Very pleasant attendant.

Azay le Rideau is a picturesque village and the property is in a great location on the doorstep of the chateau. It is a beautiful old property that has been thoughtfully turned into a hotel. Because it is an old building the rooms have been divided and can be a little small.

Terrific location in centre of town, beautiful house with lovely sitting room and gorgeous courtyard garden for drinks & nibbles or just relaxing, friendly host Thomas - and outstanding breakfast. Spacious room with large bed and bathroom (we were allocated the accessible room so possibly bigger than a standard double). Despite being on the ground floor with windows onto the street there was no noise from outside to disturb us - it's a civilised little town. Superb all round.
