A wonderful stay in historic surroun.

A lovely historic building tastefully refurbished by the present owners. Paul ,our host , was delightful and took great pride in telling us the history of the priory and giving us a tour of the buildings and garden. He is an exceptional cook. Our evening meal was delicious…but beware the portions are large!! Breakfast was just as delicious with his homemade croissants and bread together with honey from his beehives, and other preserves. Altogether a lovely relaxing stay. Merci beaucoup

Paul and Caroline could not have been more attentive, to the point of travelling the next day to help me fix a flat tyre

The property is absolutely beautiful, unique and one of a kind.

Charming gem, so perfect!

We had a wonderful experience at la prieure. Everything about our short stay was exceptional. The hosts Paul and Caroline could not have been more charming and helpful. Our tour of the chapel and grounds was a pleasant bonus. The evening meal was delicious and beautifully presented. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful place and hope to return next year.

A magical place

This was our second time visiting Paul and his prieure and we will for sure return again, most likely for longer than just one night. The prieure is an absolutely magical place, full of positive energy and Paul is a wonderful, patient and kind host. Everything was just perfect to relax and enjoy the setting of this beautiful prieure. The dinner and breakfast Paul made (as last time) were delicious and Paul even went cheese shopping with us in the morning. Thanks again for a wonderful stay where we could recharge our energy for the next day.

Paul is a great host & very knowledgeable of his wonderful historic property. The large bedroom is better than photos & very comfy bed. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal (you won’t be disappointed) & breakfast made from all local produce.

Great for detox from city noise and to relax.

Very interesting building with a church next door. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Paul is an incredibly attentive and welcoming host. He was always close by to check if we needed anything. The breakfast was great with so many products from the garden and home made confiture et honey.

Outstanding hospitality in a beautiful location

An excellent location hosted by the loveliest man possible! The welcome was very warm, the room and facilities were excellent, the food was restaurant standard and made using either home grown or local produce. Everything on the table was explained carefully in terms of what was homemade, breakfast had honey from their bees, eggs from their chickens, jams from their garden etc. All delicious! The tour of the priory and grounds were really interesting and the host was really passionate about his property. An excellent stay.

Unique

Amazing is the only word to use. From the greeting by Paul with the tour of the church and grounds, the interesting discussions on so many topics and then onto the evening meal cooked for us. Presentation was wonderful, as was the meal, prepared using either ingredients from the garden or local farmers. Next morning, eggs from the chickens, honey from the hives in the garden and bread and croissants still warm, Paul having been up early to make them for our breakfast. As we told him a culinary experience. We have already said that our next trip to France might have to be managed around another visit. Thank you Paul.
