“It was good for us”

Clean family type accomodation, on the main road, slightly out of the village centre. 5-10 min. walk will bring you to the centre that is more noisy Good value for money

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and the hotel is located right on the main highway. The internet worked consistently, and blackouts were late at night. Buses and taxis stop at the hotel when they are waved down. Quality restaurants are nearby.

The room we stayed in had good amenities like air-conditioning, it wasn't too loud and was clean enough. However, I didn't realise it was a homestay..you are renting a room inside of a family's house, which means the communal areas feels claustrophobic and loud unlike other hostels. So considering that, it's quite over priced for what it is. However there are some pros- it's secure, filtered water is available, the family is friendly and helpful and there is air-conditioning. But in terms of ambience and space, It's not the most comfortable. Location is also far from the main areas in ayampe. I'd rate it well for practicality but low for a relaxing stay, purely because you're staying in an extended family's house and you can hear loud conversations and phone sounds from your bedroom.
